Schedules..

Hello there (:

What are schedules? Are they calendars where you can see reminders everyday or are they a diary that you check all the time. Maybe it's a phone you continually key things into. Or maybe you just make schedules in your brain.
I always try and stay organised (especially at the start of the year), however I find whenever I put a day or a date when something is due or needed I always put it off until the very last minute. Even things I enjoy. Take my blog, I love writing here and giving information every week, when I started I was like I will post every weekend and it started off early weekend with some lates. Now it's always a Sunday and it has to do with my schedule I've made myself.
Take this weekend for example, on Friday, I had work early but that meant I was home by 3, so I said to myself at lunch time, I will finish my blog post today, I will take pictures and post the blog tonight. Instead, I slept and procrastinated and I knew I had a massive weekend.

I feel like no matter what I schedule or how I schedule, I will always end up in the same place. Not getting anything done because I have a 'due date'.

I believe this e-card sums it up the best:
Funny Seasonal Ecard: I hope the snowstorm doesn't impact my schedule of aimlessly wasting my day online.

See you in a couple of days!

Budgeting?

What up?

(never try and be cool)...

I have always been alright with my money. I'm able to save, but my bank balance always goes up and down around $100 each month. Which means when I get my tax back I am always so disappointed and wonder where all my money went!

I have ALWAYS wanted to buy my own car (I currently drive my parents) and my dream car has always been a Suzuki Swift.

Yesterday I decided that I would make a plan to finally begin saving to buy my own Swift. This may take a few months, but at least I am finally thinking about it.

Budgeting is so hard, but I finally decided that I don't really have anything I have to pay for. This mean what I am using most of my money on is going out with people and myself on food, which I don't need to do when I have food at home I can eat (which kind of comes into one of my 'resolutions').

So hopefully in a couple of months I will be posting about my new car!

See you soon!

Week One - Prac

Hey there!

My blog has been pretty bare lately and I will admit I have been in a bit of a writer's block since I have been so busy with work and my final prac starting. During this past week I have been going to prac and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to show you what make-up I have been reaching for. I wanted to look natural instead of caked with make-up.

Products: (top to bottom; left to right)

  • Covergirl Lash Exact Waterproof Mascara - when I first started make-up this was my mascara and I have suddenly fallen back into the habit of using it.
  • Benefit Rockateur blush - New to my collection this blush gives perfect coverage and blends in perfectly with my skin/skin tone
  • Ubran Decay Naked 3 palette - These colours * are perfect for a natural look, they also blend together perfectly and easily in the morning.
  • Rimmel BB Cream; Light - This was an impulse buy last Sunday when I realised my BB cream I had ordered online would (obviously) not make it for me to wear on Tuesday, however this had worked well with my skin and gives good coverage.
  • Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter (colour 080 Strawberry Shortcake) - Again, another impulse buy in Priceline last Sunday, but the colour is perfect and stays on for a long time.
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - To keep the BB cream in place I found the perfect thing a few days earlier and I'm so glad I can reach for this everyday.

*here are the shades
A look I wore

I hope this helps some of you who need to create a natural look for a party/something you are doing.
Stay safe
