Wayback Wednesday - 2006

It's back! Finally. I have the time to sit and write this this week and I am so excited about the song I have.

The year is 2006 many 'drama' stars have started carers as singers as well as actors. I hated/did not know pretty much all of them. Except one. One who was in Neighbours (which I had NEVER watched) but this song would stick. Stick to me, stick to my best friend.
This song would be my jam for another few years. I'd buy the album just to hear more songs!

The song is Mistake - Stephanie McIntosh
Peace.

Lest We Forget,

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

99 years ago ANZACS landed in Gallipoli during The Great War, this was also the very first year Australia and New Zeland celebrated ANZAC day.

Today we commemorate all of the fallen soldiers. Not only in the Great War, but also in the second World War.

To think those men were brothers, lovers and fathers. Some of them never returned to see their families grow.

I do not want to make this long nor do I want to make it sound like I am not grateful, because I will be internally grateful to those men.

See you soon!

Happy Easter!

O hey there!

I hope you had a lovely Easter with family. These past four days have been wonderful. I have not had to go anywhere but my house. Although I have felt like I've been coming down with a cold, which is very annoying!

I love Easter and Christmas and Birthdays and just like everything you spend time with your family. Although, this Easter my parents have been away I still had a lovely lunch at my aunts.

What did you do for Easter?

See you soon (:

Wayback Wednesday - 2002

O hey there!

So I remember the first day I told my dad I wanted to listen to the 'real radio'. Like I obviously would hear popular songs often and know the lyrics. But during car trips we would listen to
the am station (it was the worst!!).

But I remember the very first song I was OBSESSED with and 2002 was that year

Avril Lavinge - Complicated

Love to you all

MIA

Why hello there lovelies!

I am sorry that I was MIA this week! I have been super busy and super sick.

On Wednesday I worked all day then came home and pretty much fell asleep, which means I am just going to miss this Wayback Wednesday. Then on Thursday I got super sick at work and couldn't even function properly. When they say bad things come in threes, Thursday lived up to that! First I was so sick I couldn't function. Then when I got a little better I had to bring the bins in and got bitten by a bee. Thirdly, I burnt myself when finishing dinner! It was awful!

My bee sting ):
The thing is I had something super cool thought out for this week! O well I will have to save it for next week.

I am sorry that this is so lame, but ugh, I still feel like crap.

One Month,

Hey there!

Today marks one month since I last had my sip of soft drink. To be honest with you, I don't miss it at all. The thing I miss, is the sugar I get from it and I'm not letting myself break into eating just sugar.

Now that I have gone a month without soft drink, it's time to start cutting crappy food from my diet. I have proved to myself that I can make it without soft drink so I can do this. I can start eating healthy and not letting these things get to me!

Have a perfect week! (:

Wayback Wednesday!

It's that time of week again! And yes, in my last post I lied, I was going to post again, but I got busy with uni and things like that.

Although, it is now time for my Wayback Wednesday. This week at work we have been sorting out archives and they have been going back quiet a way, looking at pictures of people I graduated High School with made me just remember my primary school days. This week I thought it was fitting that we rewind back to 2005 - my final year of primary school (year 7 - age 12).

This week has been hard for me. While looking at songs that came out in 2005 and I have found so many that I just adored (I may even continue to sing to this day)!

However I think I have found the perfect song. It's something I (regretfully) say I used to love in 2005 and I really shouldn't have. I think it was just a "you're a rebel" stage which obviously didn't work. But I still sing this to my boyfriend today and I know every single word.

This week - My Humps - The Black Eyed Peas.

See you soon!
