Drugstore - GRWM

I got invited to my brothers for dinner the other night and I was testing make-up out and I thought this would be the perfect time to do a GRWM.
I realised lately that I have like 0 drugstore eye shadows and blushes, so this was kind of difficult, however I made it work!

*I actually did not use the Stay Matte.

I actually really enjoyed doing this and I just missed using the foundation I used. I really need to start using it again.

Final Look!

First Impression - Australis

Hello there, I've been blogging constantly for a while HOLLA!

As I mentioned in a previous post I had heard lots of wonderful things about Australis and I thought I should go and check out some of the products. I thought I would do this differently and create a look using all Australis products (unless of course I did not purchase those, you can see what I purchased here).

As you can see almost everyone of these products is Australis, except for what I used on my eyes.

Ignore wet hair!

The all over face and body tint by Australis is super watery! I thought this would be something that would be nice to put on as a simple cover maybe day-to-day wear. However, I found this to be too watery and would just streak all over my face. I also found that it was unable to be built.

I found that this bronzer left my skin looking muddy instead of sunkissed. This could be my fault as my brushes were a little dirty when I was trying this look. I will not give up on it just yet as I really enjoyed the look of it when swatching in store!
For some reason I did not take a photo of the blush.. But I actually really liked the way the blush looked on my face and I would definitely recommend it!

One my eyes I used; Naked 2 and Faint

I found the Megalash mascara very similar to the Falsies by Maybelline and I have come to love that mascara. I found this mascara watery and easy to apply with mishaps being easily wiped away!

This lipgloss was amazing! I love the colour and the texture and the way it felt on my lips and the way it stayed on my lips just ugh! I just loved it!

Overall, I did enjoy this brand and would recommend purchasing some of the products! Although this is just my opinion so please test it out for yourself!

Priceline Haul

Over the last couple of weeks I have heard many people boosting and praising the brand Australis and so I thought that I would go and buy some of the products and test them out. Turns out I did a huge shop of Australis at Priceline while also adding other things into my basket (I seriously told myself to stay at one brand and move on out THAT DID NOT HAPPEN). So I thought it would be the perfect thing to do a haul post for you since I have never done something like this before!

My photography skills are off today!

General - Skin Care, Hair Products, Make-up things unneeded.
RealTechniques, Powder Brush, $24.99

Lady Jayne, bobby pins $3.99 & Simple Facial Wash $7.99

2 of these products I went in for and one I almost forgot! The only reason I really got the RealTechniques powder brush was really that I enjoy the brushes and I am in need of a new powder brush (or so I thought in my impulse buy). The Bobby Pins were a simple purchase that I needed because for some reason being a girl you lose them all all the friggin' time!
The Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash was bought because I have super sensitive skin and I have been looking for something that won't irritate my skin and while watching Rachelleea she mentioned how good this was on her skin and I wanted to give it a go! I also thought since Priceline was having 20% off all of the Simple range I thought this was the best time to go!

Lips
Revlon Colourstay Ultimate Suede $16.00, Australis Long Wear Lipstick $12.95, Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lipstick $12.95 & Australis Velourlips Matte Lip Cream $9.95

When buying these lip products (or paying for them shall I say) I realised I didn't need any of them! But when trying them in store I just could not resist! They are all so creamy and lovely!

Eyes & Cheeks

Australis Blush BFFS $12.95, Australis Bronzing Powder $12.95 & Covergirl Eye Enhancers 265 sheerly nudes $13.95

Australis Multi Mega Lash $12.95
Now at least I have an excuse for all the Australis purchases here I really want to try and see how all these things go (p.s post coming soon!) and I wanted to give it a go myself and hope the hype is worth it. But the covergirl eyeshadow is not something I needed, but when I was in there I had all lip stuff in my basket so I was trying to make it look like I needed something else (however I feel like this will be a regretful purchase as I love my Naked 3 & Too Face palette's way too much).

Face
$19.95
Although I am not in need of anymore facial products I went straight for this item. To be honest I have no idea why since I am in love with my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation which I mentioned in my GRWM post just last week but I feel like having more then enough foundations isn't a bad thing!

I have something super awesome planned for most of the products mentioned. Can you guess what? Stick around and see, it will not be next week, but in a few weeks I will have it up and I will link you to it no doubt!

Wayback Wednesday - 2004

What a year 2004 was. Year 6, close to finishing primary school. Getting crushes, swearing, what a year it was. I remember playing this song on the highest volume on the way home from school in my brothers car and him being totally annoyed because he would hear it at least 3 times a day.

Pieces of Me - Ashlee Simpson

O where for art thou holidays!?

I feel like it's been forever since I've had time away for just me. Me time. I know that last time I was away was January but that was OVER 6 months ago! How crazy is that! We are half way through the year like what!?

Anyway, as I am currently on university break my friend and I thought it would be a great idea to take a quick trip away for the weekend! I was so excited for this trip, I seriously started counting down the week we booked to go away! I do realise how many exclamation points I have already used but I feel it is necessary in my current state.

So we packed up and headed to a wonderful weekend away.

The weekend was amazing! I spent too much money (which I hate), we ate till our stomachs burst and drunk too much of everything.

We had such a wonderful weekend we forgot to take any pictures! Which is actually what this post was meant to be. But stayed tuned for a Brisbane Haul (;

Wayback Wednesday - 2001

What a year 2001 was! It rained so much this year, that our sports carnival got cancelled at least 3 times. This year was wonderful my days were easy, my lessons were easy and the sports I loved were challenging.
The little girl who sung this song (that I loved at this stage) burst onto the scene in 2000 at the Olympic Games, what a gem. People still call her an Australian Princess.
*WARNING*
If you do not wish to have a song stuck in your head for days do not listen to the song below (even just thinking about the song makes me sing it in my head)

In 2001 I would have to say my favourite song was Strawberry Kisses - Nikki Webster. Not only is it catchy and all types of wonderful, you can annoy everyone you know with just a little bit of singing!

GRWM - Prac!

Why hello there!
Long time no see! Since I have just finished (as in a week ago) my placement for the term I thought that this would be a perfect time for me to do a GRWM (Get Ready With Me).

In the mornings I do not have time to take a shower as that would mean waking at 5am (and I am NOT a morning person), I cleanse, tone and moisturize my face with these products. I have been using these products for years and would definitely recommend purchasing them!
Ignore my bad face/clothing choice today
Once I have finished moisturizing my skin, I then prime with the NYX photo-loving primer. Which is a clear formula.

I then use my Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in 100 IVORY dabbing on with a sponge. I have always used a sponge to apply my foundation and I find it incredibly useful and easy to use. I also found with this foundation product that it is really easy to build up coverage where needed.

Most days before prac I have massive circles under my eyes! So I then apply the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer to hide those circles and other blemishes on my face!

It's then time to set my concealer with Rimmel's Stay Matte powder in 005 SILKY BEIGE with my Nude by Nature Kabuki Base Brush in circular motions all over my face.

I would then prime my eyes with Napoleon Perdis eye primer. I then use my Naked 3 palette (WHICH I LOVE!) to put Limit and Trick all over my lids using a Nude by Nature eye shadow brush and a RealTechniques base shadow brush. Blending with a RealTechniques deluxe crease brush.

Then it's time to apply my mascara Covergirl's lashblastlength in black brown to my upper and lower lashes.

The blush I have been using most recently which gives me a lovely cheek colour is Too Faced Sweet Hearts in Peach Beach, when I first bought this product I would have LOVED the shade Candy Glow but since my bag was already over my spending amount I could not splurge! *sad* I apply blush with the RealTechniques Multi Task Brush

Then just to finish I would add some Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in 080 Strawberry Shortcake. This lip butter is a really natural looking colour on me and as I'm going for a really natural look it works perfectly for me!

Final Look, ignore the crappy hair!
I hope you enjoyed this Get Ready With Me! I might do a few more in the future! You may recognize some of the products used from this post I made in February as I have only changed a few things!

I have heaps of posts lined up for the next few weeks so please stay with me! Having this time off will be great to get back into blogging which I am really looking forward too!
