Welcome Back!
Why hello there! I feel like I should introduce myself again, since I've been away for so long. It's Jess by the way.
Now let me begin by telling you I am so sorry! I have been thinking of you and thinking of starting again but there's been so much I have been doing lately. Let me start with the 2 most important things:
1. I am a graduate of university! As of October 28th I graduated!
2. I am now an adult in every country.
Since those two things have been confirmed let me begin my ramblings of what I've been doing over the past 3 (wow it's been that long) months.
September!
September saw my final university days. Me becoming what I have been studying for, for the past four years. I finally finished and with a good GPA and comments too!
You'd think by the amount I wrote in this month that I would have had time but believe me, prepping and organising is a hard thing to do while thinking of things to blog about.
October!
Ok, so let me start by saying I could have probably blogged in this month but thinking of things to write about was difficult especially after a month away!
October saw me deal with the stress of job hunting and sitting a house with limited money in the bank.
I could have you know started blogging again, but since I wasn't doing anything I really had nothing to blog about.
November!
Now November is always a big month for me (my birthday!). So the month started with birthday celebrations (since I am now 21). My parents booked a trip last year to go to the Melbourne Cup, since this fell on the exact day of my birthday. Not only did we have that one day we had a whole week! It was great just to get away for a while you know?
I promise once I get all the photos my mother took on her camera I will make a post about Melbourne. |

I have now been home a week and had a lot on my plate. But just on the weekend I went to celebrate my 21st with my friends and I must say it was a wonderful night.
(I apologize in advance for quality of photos.)
I promise I will be back soon with another post! There's no doubt about it because I miss it!

Dear Dad,
Happy Father's Day!
I would like to thank you for everything you do for me even now. I'm turning 21 and you still will come and see what is wrong with me when I cry. You'll sit on my bed and listen even when you don't understand what the point of crying over it. I'll always be your little girl no matter how big I get. I just wish I was better for you some days. I love you unconditionally and you'll always be my favourite male.

BeautyBay Haul!
Well hello there, long time no see.
I am sorry. I have been busy with prac things that I have needed to get done over the past 2/3 weeks and blogging has honestly taken a back seat. But yesterday I had some time to take photos/get things ready for more exciting things on my blog! YAY!
This week I am doing a BeautyBay haul. BeautyBay is where I go to find all high end brands that I know I cannot find easily in Australia (and free shipping!). Now that I suddenly have limited income I could only afford a few things this shop BUT they are things I have been lusting after for a while!
When I went to Brisbane a few weeks back I decided to buy a Too Faced Summer Bunny Bronzer and Highlighter, now I have used it once and I am regretting buying it. My friend bought this Bronzer and it looks wonderful, so I decided a few months ago to put this in my shopping basket and buy it when I could. I must say this is the perfect shade of Bronzer for me!
When purchasing (well putting this in my basket) I thought this was a little pinker than orange. However I am quite surprised by what I swathed this as when I opened it a few days ago. I think this will be the perfect colour to wear throughout summer this year!
If you have never lusted over any of these Naked palettes I don't know what to say. These colours are amazing and so pigmented. I just love these palettes!
For purchasing more than a certain amount of money I received a free gift (which you actually get to decide upon, out of like 5 things). I chose this lip and cheek stain. It is so lovely and moisturizes your lips perfectly and to be honest as a 'sample' you get quiet a lot of product.
Hope you enjoyed see you soon!

Not Again!
Hello there,
I actually had something planned, just had to sit down and write it. Make sure it was all correct and edit some pictures to put on. Turns out, I suck at this and nothing wants me to blog. My computer screen currently has a big crack in it and so half of my screen does not work. It sucks. So this week I am off to find someone who does computer repairs!

Drugstore - GRWM
I got invited to my brothers for dinner the other night and I was testing make-up out and I thought this would be the perfect time to do a GRWM.
I realised lately that I have like 0 drugstore eye shadows and blushes, so this was kind of difficult, however I made it work!
*I actually did not use the Stay Matte. |
I actually really enjoyed doing this and I just missed using the foundation I used. I really need to start using it again.

First Impression - Australis
Hello there, I've been blogging constantly for a while HOLLA!
As you can see almost everyone of these products is Australis, except for what I used on my eyes.
As I mentioned in a previous post I had heard lots of wonderful things about Australis and I thought I should go and check out some of the products. I thought I would do this differently and create a look using all Australis products (unless of course I did not purchase those, you can see what I purchased here).
Ignore wet hair! |
The all over face and body tint by Australis is super watery! I thought this would be something that would be nice to put on as a simple cover maybe day-to-day wear. However, I found this to be too watery and would just streak all over my face. I also found that it was unable to be built.
I found that this bronzer left my skin looking muddy instead of sunkissed. This could be my fault as my brushes were a little dirty when I was trying this look. I will not give up on it just yet as I really enjoyed the look of it when swatching in store!
For some reason I did not take a photo of the blush.. But I actually really liked the way the blush looked on my face and I would definitely recommend it!
One my eyes I used; Naked 2 and Faint |
I found the Megalash mascara very similar to the Falsies by Maybelline and I have come to love that mascara. I found this mascara watery and easy to apply with mishaps being easily wiped away!
This lipgloss was amazing! I love the colour and the texture and the way it felt on my lips and the way it stayed on my lips just ugh! I just loved it!
Overall, I did enjoy this brand and would recommend purchasing some of the products! Although this is just my opinion so please test it out for yourself!
